Dan Martinez and Kit Vongprachan and possibly a few others from Gracie Tampa will be fighting in Key West next month. This is a title fight for both Dan and Kit, both have very tough opponents and are training extremely hard.

Martin Trey Brown is representing Gracie Tampa West January 28th in Miami FL in Florida’s first San Do event, where he will be fighting 2 people at once. It should be entertaining to say the least.

Come in monday – thursday mornings and roll/spar with the guys to help get them ready for the up coming competitions!

Holiday Hours

Gracie Tampa will be CLOSED Wednesday December 21st –
Sunday December 25th & Saturday December 31st. We reopen for normal classes Monday the 2nd.

OPEN MATS
(Open to ALL Students)
Monday December 26th – Thursday December 29th

Morning Session 10AM – 1PM
(Kids) 6PM – 7PM
Evening Session 7PM – 9PM

Congratulations

Congratulations to all the Gracie Tampa students that got a new belt or some new stripes. Special congratulations to Dan Martinez for earning his Purple belt.

I hope to see everyone back on the mat next week training hard. Hard work = success.

Belt Promotions Dec 3rd!

This SATURDAY, December 3rd, 2011 we
will be hosting an adult Belt Promotion Ceremony at
Gracie Tampa NORTH from 12pm – 2pm.

All North, South, and West members should attend!!
There will be a ton of very well deserved and high ranking promotions!!

After Belt Promotions, we will be having our 1st Annual
Gracie Tampa Holiday Party. We have hired a DJ and
will have food and drinks for all of our loyal students.

We are very proud to have each and every one of you as a part
of our family and team and hope to see all of you this Saturday.

Please wear your No-Gi attire with your Belt.

2011 has been an amazing year, and we know that 2012 will be even better!

Holiday Schedule and More!

Gracie Tampa West will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (the 24th-26th) for Thanksgiving. Be sure to pick up your new Team Bamboo shirt before you leave for the holidays!

We have one more fight card this year, its looking like its December 10th, in Alabama. Dan Martinez and Martin “Trey” Brown will be fighting as a warm up for the San Do even January 6th, 7th, and 8th in Miami. Details on that coming soon!

Bellatore September 17th

Next weekend is fight day for Martin “Trey” Brown. You only have a few more days to come get some training in with him before he fights and heads back home. He is teaching an outstanding striking class this week at 8PM each night, you should try and make it if you can.

Also, in sadder news, many of you heard that one of our own was killed this past week in a car accident, Tony Milanes was an outstanding kid, and this is a great tragedy for the world. RIP Tony. You will be missed.

Up Coming MMA events!

We are headed back to Biloxi on October 1st for our next MMA event. Dan Martinez and Kit Vongprachan will both be fighting, we will possibly have a couple more guys on the card as well.

Following that card, we will have our newer ammy guys on the Destin card November 5th.
